3 versions of TwinScan are available


TwS-B
bitonal version for scanning and storing bitonal images only

TwS-G
grayscale version for scanning and storing bitonal and grayscale images simultaneously.

TwS-C
For scanning and storing colour images as bitonal and color images. Bitonal images are generated using an online threshold function, its parameter settings are applied to the scanned image eliminating any re-scans. Furthermore, for the generation of greyscale images one of the three color channels (red, green or blue) can be selected. In addition, any number of electronic color filters (color dropout) can be defined on a job-by-job basis. Extraction and processing is also supported.

TwS-C

  • Thresholding online, during scanning, using the color or the filtered color image (TwS-Adapt)
  • Automatic two-dimensional thresholding for binarization of scanned images without rescanning (TwS-Adapt)
  • Electronic color dropout during scanning
  • Extraction/processing of colored marked areas
  • Compression: uncompressed, JPEG und PDF
